Not a good start for Paris. First our Eurostar train arrived late more than one hour. Then a local tricked me on a metro ticked machine. Few euros for quick lesson at a French station!

Our guard meter was increased here in Paris. It was a contrast between the safety and cleanliness of London and the dangerously beautiful Paris.

Our hotel was close to the Strasbourg Saint-Denis metro station, so it was a bit dodgy area as well but luckily once inside you will find a sanctuary.
